Brigitte Macron ‘given male name on her tax file by hackers’ as 10 people face trial over cruel claims she’s not a woman
Those standing trial include an elected official, gallery owner, teacher, medium and even a computer scientist
BRIGITTE Macron was given a male name on the official French tax portal by a team of cruel hackers, according to a top governmental official.
The glamorous French First Lady, 72, is locked in a bitter yet bizarre legal battle to prove she is a biological woman as 10 people now face trial for “sexist cyberbullying”.
Mrs Macron, the wife of President Emmanuel Macron, has faced humiliation in Paris after hackers reportedly altered her name to Jean-Michel on national tax filing system.
A routine audit of Brigitte’s tax reports in September 2024 discovered the nasty dig, according to the head of the administration for the Macron’s, Tristan Bomme.
Bomme said: “Like many French people, Madame Macron logged into her personal account on the tax website.
“She logs into the system and sees that it does not say Brigitte Macron, but Jean-Michel Macron.”

He added that Brigitte made an official complaint once it had been uncovered.
Fears of a software glitch were investigated but it was soon found to be as a result of a deliberate intervention, according to Bomme.
The section which had been edited is impossible to change without the individual user’s permission, Bomme said.
Two suspects were identified as having an involvement in the cyberattack by changing the name in the database.
Now, another 10 people are set to stand trial for similar defamatory accusations against Brigitte.
Eight men and two women will be tried before the Paris Criminal Court on Monday for sexist cyberbullying against Brigitte.
They include an elected official, gallery owner, teacher, medium and even a computer scientist.
The defendants, all aged between 41 and 60, are accused of making numerous malicious comments about Brigitte around her “gender” and “sexuality”.
Brigitte Macron’s legal battles
For years, vicious rumours claiming Brigitte was born a man have spread online by conspiracy theorists and right-wing personalities.
One of the biggest is US pundit Candace Owens.
Last March, Owens said she “would stake [her] entire professional reputation” on the claim that Brigitte was born male.
She even alleged Brigitte is in fact her brother, Jean-Michel Trogneux, and that her first husband never existed.
Hurt by the outlandish comments to her hundreds of thousands of viewers, both Brigitte and Emmanuel Macron took legal action.
They filed for defamation in July and vowed to do whatever necessary to prove Brigitte is and always has been a woman.
But Owens hit back by saying she would demand a medical exam as part of any trial.
She announced: “We’re going to demand Brigitte sit down for an exam with an independent doctor.
“We’re coming for her medical records.”
Her lawyer’s have insisted Owens has a right to say what she believes under free speech laws.
The rumours about Brigitte’s birth gender first took off in France after far-right magazine Faits et Documents printed them in 2021.

DR Emma Hilton, a developmental biologist at the University of Manchester, told The Sun the First Lady could technically offer at least five types of evidence.
CHILDBIRTH
The strongest evidence, Dr Hilton said, would be showing she has carried a child.
“If you see a baby coming out of someone, you’re going to say, ‘yes, OK, that’s a woman’,” she commented.
And photos of Brigitte Macron pregnant with her three children could be decisive.
HORMONE LEVELS
Doctors could check sex hormone levels – testosterone, estrogen, and progesterone – which differ in men and women.
Dr Hilton noted: “It’s something that’s been used for sports categories before.
“We use them to check the general sexual health of men and women in adulthood.”
MAKE MALE GENE
Scientists can run a genetic test for the specific gene that triggers male development.
“It’s called the ‘make male’ gene. It’s the single trigger in humans to say you are going to be male,” Dr Hilton said.
And if it’s absent, it means the person is female.
CHROMOSOME SCREENING
A simple screen could show whether Macron carries a Y chromosome – a marker of male sex.
This usually means taking a blood sample and looking for the presence of a Y chromosome, which is typically linked with male sex.
MENSTRUAL HISTORY
Doctors could also review menstrual history, meaning whether someone has ever had periods, when they began, and how regular they are.
They were later peddled to the public by bloggers Natacha Rey and Amandine Roy who pushed them in a YouTube interview that went viral.
The Macrons sued Rey and Roy for defamation in Paris and won with the two women being hit with huge fines.
But the pair were later acquitted by the Paris Court of Appeal over the incident on freedom of expression grounds.
Brigitte has appealed the decision to overturn the court’s verdict.
Amandine, a self-proclaimed 51-year-old whistleblower, has long claimed that Brigitte is a transgender woman who was born Jean-Michel.
They allege that she never gave birth to her three children due to her gender.
Being a famous person comes with heavy burdens. Briggitte’s tribulations, with doubts about her gender are troubling and indicate the sickness that has permeated society. Why should someone need to prove what gender they are? The burden should be on the accuser, such as Candace Owens. She should furnish proof that Briggitte is not a woman. And if she doesn’t furnish that proof, she should be found guilty and pay a huge fine.
However, I’ve noticedc that mostly, “influencers” on th extreme right are the ones sowing doubts about others, especially if they’re liberals. The unbased accusations were started by Trump, who doubted Obama’s birth place, and even though he never produced any evidence justifying his doubts on Obamas’ being American born, he never faced any blowback from republicans. That lack of accountability, magnified by FOX news’ lies, migrated to the conservative population, which enabled others to make up stories of Michelle Obama being a man, the lost election, the Januray 6th boondangle, and it has metasticized to pardoning convicted criminals, such as George Santos and the crypto billionaire, among the other thousands who were pardoned by Trump in only nine months in office.
Even when Trump leaves office, Americans will no longer be concerned with what’s truth or fiction. As long as it adheres to their ideology.

Nick. I already made my argument. In the good old days, when a leader lied, he would face censure and lose credibility. Think of Nixon. If he was a candidate, he would be laughed out of the race. Not Trump. He began his campaign with lies, false accusations, denigrating opponents, besmirching others’ character and he faced no pushback. He reveled in lies. It gave him oxygen.
And he wasn’t the only one. Trump jr. posted on social media a hammer and man’s underwear when Pelosi’s husband was attacked.
I’m talking about leaders, politicians, newscasters and TV talking heads. I can’t think of any such personalities on the left that lied as much and did not face opposition, from their own party.
These claims may be wrong or they may be correct. I suggest people listen to the evidence that came out in a book written by French authors before deciding if this theory is crazy. If Mrs. Macron is in fact a female, the Macrons could have easily proven it years ago. It is the easiest thing in the world to prove that you are a female….but yet, as of today, after many years of these accusations, they didn’t show any good evidence of it. Wouldn’t any normal person squash an outlandish easily refutable accusation like this immedietely?
Candace did not come up with this theory, she is merely reporting on the book that was written by French journalist. This has been talked about in France for years prior to Candace’s podcasts. When I first heard Candace rant about this, I thought it was nuts…then I listened to the evidence. I recommend anyone that has strong opinions about this to LISTEN TO THE EVIDENCE.
There are so many parts of the Macron relationship that is down right odd such as the information that shows Bridgette was Emmanual’s teacher and starting a dating relationship (as his teacher) with the boy when she was around 35 and he was 15 (which, I don’t believe the Macrons are denying).
Also, the decisions they apparently make to surround themselves with famous sexual perverts is a point of interest also…who was behind the Olympic “Last Supper” trans ceremony..??..?? The list of these very odd claims is huge. If even half of these accusations are true, I think people would be not be happy with the Macrons being in such a powerful position.
This theory may be wrong and it may be correct…that remains to be seen. However, there is a compelling amount of evidence to support the idea that she might be a male. The Macrons could have squashed this at the very beginning in many ways. They are not merely a normal couple, they are leaders of state and have immense global and national power. We deserve to know if our global leaders are who they say they are.
You are wrong. Brigitte is not a world leader. She’s merely the first lady. So, your argument that we need world leaders to “prove” they are who they say they are, has no resonance in this controversy.
She does not have to prove that she’s a female. She’s not going to be competing in sports-which I believe should be for females from birthexclusively.
I don’t understand what the problem is with so many on the right. If you accuse someone of not being truthful, the accuser has to furnish the evidence. Not the other way around.

Nick. I’m not arguing those points. But none of those arguments have anything to do with questioning her gender.
As for the age differences between them and the fact that he was 15, let’s say that in Greece and also in France, when you and I were in school, if a boy of 15 got laid with the teacher, it would be a badge of honor. The boy would go around bragging about it. It is not the same as if a male teacher abused a female of 15. Things have changed now. We consider a boy as affected as if he is a girl. Looking back at myself, when I was 15, there was a hot teacher that I wouldn’t have minded if she made a pass at me.
