EDITOR’S NOTE (Nick Stamatakis). In Episode 345, “I’m Back! Russian Collusion & Turning Point Delusion,” Candace Owens returns from a highly publicized trip to Russia and addresses the intense media reaction that followed. Much of the opening portion of the episode centers on her experiences in Russia, where she argues that Western commentators and journalists quickly framed her visit through the familiar lens of “Russian collusion” rather than engaging with what she actually observed. Owens presents her journey as an opportunity to encounter Russian society firsthand, including its religious and cultural traditions, which she believes are frequently misunderstood or misrepresented in the West.
A recurring theme throughout her discussion is the role of Russian Orthodoxy in contemporary Russian life. Owens describes the visible presence of historic churches, cathedrals, and public expressions of Christian faith, portraying Russian Orthodoxy as a living spiritual tradition that continues to shape the nation’s identity. She contrasts this with what she sees as the increasing secularization of Western societies, suggesting that Russia’s religious heritage offers a perspective that many Western observers overlook. For Owens, the trip becomes not merely a political story but a cultural and religious one, highlighting the enduring influence of Orthodox Christianity on Russian history, community life, and national self-understanding.
DON’T GET FOOLED – SHE DID NOT INTERVIEW PUTIN!! BUT SOON SHE MIGHT!!

I love Russia. I took some Russian studies back when I was in college, back when it was still the Soviet Union. After the Soviet Union fell, I traveled to Russia and was blessed to visit many of the Orthodox churches there and venerate many of the Russian saints that are dear to me. Russia is certainly amazing.
From her video, it is apparent that Candace Owens loves Russia too. Of note, in this same video, she also criticizes the Israeli Zionists. Yet what she seems to miss here is that Russia currently has its own peculiar ‘Zionism’ also, centered around retaking Ukraine. The war in Ukraine is the elephant in the room that she ignores, telling us how great Russia is, just like the Zionists want to tell us how great Israel is, all while ignoring the genocide in Gaza and now in Lebanon.
Joseph – it’s truly amazing how you manage to get it all wrong. If you knew Russia at all you would know that “Ukraine” is Russia and that Kiev is the “Jerusalem” of the Russian nation, where they adopted Christianity… just 100 years ago nobody could distinguish “Ukraine” on the map and until recently (1990 or so) it was more a geographical distinction than anything else. Don’t realize that Zelensky’s mother tongue is Russian?
The “Greater Russia” project is not new. This is largely why Ivan III, Tsar Peter, and Empress Catherine were all referred to as “Great”: they created and expanded the boundaries of a Russian Empire by military means. Yet the boundaries of Russia have always been in flux. Currently the Zionist mantra of “Greater Russia” seems to be “from the Dnieper River to the Bering Sea….”
Lest we forget, the former colonies in America gained their independence from the British Empire and with the help of France, Spain and the Dutch Republic. Ever since, New England and New York, despite their names, are no longer British, even though almost all of the early colonists were, in fact, British. About 20 percent of those colonists, termed “Loyalists”, even sided with Great Britain during the War of Independence.
Interestingly, about 20 percent of Ukraine today could also be called “Loyalists”, siding with the Russian Federation. That 20 percent is most likely the result of what basically amounts to an historical Russian colonization of the lands of Ukraine that was actively encouraged by Empress Catherine and others, mostly beginning in the 1700’s. However, just like the former British colonists in America, the issue is not whether they are “British”, or in Ukraine’s case “Russians”, but rather whether there is the will and drive to fight for independence. Our United States of America won their independence nearly 250 years ago against the world’s main superpower. I believe Ukraine will also.
You forget that Russian successfully defeated and at least 4 invasion from the West the last 400 years. After their victories (I underline AFTER) Russian troops paraded in Paris and Berlin 4 times the last 200 years!!
Do you know who else the Russians defeated and destroyed (and the Iranians also)? The barbarian Mongol race of Khazarian Jews who dispersed themselves in the West, especially after their adoption of Judaism as a religion. Do you know who is part of such a race – and they do not have any semitic cell in them? The Rothschilds among others – who are the primary financial hegemons of the West and are the ones who created the state of Israel!! Yes the incestuous race of the Rothchilds who pride themselves of intermarrying so to keep their wealth to themselves. Start educating yourself – Helleniscope is the right place for ignoramuses like you. Here is a very recent video to help you open your eyes:

Joseph,
It was the Uniates that “colonized” the Russian territory called “Ukraine”…we know what the truth is, so you can stop wasting energy spreading Uniate propaganda.
Joseph,
The Uniates created the perennial problem of religious/cultural division in the Ukraine, centuries before you or any other pro-Uniate individual or “λατινοφρων” Ecumenical Patriarchate (with bishops who kiss the Pope’s hand on video) attempted to place the blame anywhere else…
Markos, Vladimir Putin just said in St. Petersburg last week that Muslims account for up to 15 percent of the Russian Federation. In Ukraine, only about 2 percent is Muslim.
As for Uniates, they only account for about 10 percent of Ukraine, whereas they are almost non-existent in the Russian Federation.
What this all points to is a very real cultural difference between the two countries. It is only natural that Ukraine doesn’t want to become a dhimmi of the “Moscow Horde”. Likewise, the Russian Federation won’t tolerate the existence of Uniatism. In the occupied territories of Ukraine, Uniatism is already being suppressed and banned by the Russian Federation.
Joseph,
Your statistics on the Ukraine are a load of BS, because you are deviously excluding Epiphanios and the millions he claims to be “his” from the Uniate side of the equation… Yes UNIATE side of the equation, because Constantinople’s actions have resulted in a Schism within Orthodoxy…Epiphanios is not legitimized or accepted quite yet, by the OVERWHELMING MAJORITY of Orthodox bishops of the world….you know very well what that means. Do the math right, and you’ll align with closer to 50 / 50 which is where the current battle lines are drawn between loyalty to Moscow and not…that’s exactly why the US facilitated a coup in 2014, because the PEOPLE SPOKE with a vote that the US government didn’t like…take your BS statistics elsewhere.
And we keep reminding your propagandist skull that in 1992 and 1997-8, Bartholomew signed his name twice affirming EXACLTY what Philaret and his gang (including his spiritual offspring Epiphanios) were..DEPOSED SCHISMATICS. And there is plenty of pictorial evidence of that gang hanging out with Uniates consistently for many those years, too… even in their altars.
But if you really like statistics, perhaps start counting how many bishops under Constantinople have “kissed the Pope’s hand” on video in recent years, and then run a calculation of the percentage of clergy that is “acting Uniate” by doing that…It’s feels like a lot more than 10%, from Youtube videos I’ve seen…
Markos, people are either in communion with Rome, or they are not. The OCU has never been in communion with Rome, despite all fantasies otherwise.
The Uniates consider the OCU to be schismatic. For example, a Uniate priest who recently joined the OCU was declared schismatic and defrocked by the Uniates:
https://spzh.eu/en/news/92274-ugcc-defrocks-priest-for-defecting-to-ocu
Joseph,
In chess, there are many moves to “check mate”…likewise, the “Uniate Game” is a long-term one… all “moves” in this “game” lead to the Uniate vision of the Universe…That is not “fantasy”…the Vatican is perfectly satisfied with a Constantinople whose bishops “kiss the Pope’s hand”, whose bishops “give a Cardinal the censer on Pascha to cense the Orthodox faithful”, whose bishops routinely engage in “common prayer” with them…all of these are violations of Orthodox Canons, and all of them are “Uniate behavior”…so when the “next act of escalation” is to provide a “tomos” to Epiphanios, and continue to “kiss the Pope’s hand”, is it really necessary to argue that the Uniate dream of “seizing” Orthodox lands and people from Orthodox jurisdictions requires a “common chalice”? We clearly see who is Uniate-minded already, through their deeds and actions (and violations of Canons that carry the penalty of deposing), even before such announcement has been made. Constantinople has turned into a Patriarchate with multiple public examples of Λατινοφρονες, and a formal “declaration of a common cup” (but in a 1439 style), with subjugation to the Vatican (kissing the Pope’s hand) is unfortunateliy getting more realistic each day…so don’t obfuscate what we all see with an attempt at throwing out “technicalities” that are actualy irrelevant given what’s happening around us… Remember, Epiphanios and his gang have been taking over parishes (and population) by force for a few years now, since Bartholomew’s “tomos” emboldened them to become even more aggressive…that’s an indisputable fact….that’s how the Uniates have always operated since their original role models in the 4th Crusade…
Perspective in this case depends on understanding who is the marionette, and who holds the strings….
Joseph—always keeping us entertained!
Joseph, Really, “The Ukrainians Neo Nazi Jewish Zionist Regime of Zelensky doesn’t want to become a dhimmi of the “Moscow Horde” and then get this .” who are planning to religiously cleans Uniatism from the Ukraine ” But you have no problem, that Zelensky and his regime become a dhimmi of the EU/Nato Horde who fund him to impose fascist Neo Nazi poliicies which ethnically and religiously cleanse Russian Speaking Orthodox Christians from the Ukraine and Europe , and ban Orthodox Churches of the Ukraine affiliated with the Moscow Church! You are very confused or uninformed ..but the last I heard .. it was the EU/Nato greater project who wanted to take over the Ukraine, and it is the Atheist dominant EU/Nato countries who admit they started the war on both the Ukraine and Russia ..with the coup of the elected leaders of the the Ukraine which fractured and incited the separist rebellion opposing the Neo Nazi illegitimate coup of their government in Eastern Ukraine ….
However, testimony to this comes directly from Col Douglas McGregor and independent news
The Jewish Zionist George Soros Manifesto ..to destroy nationalist states of Russia , Ukraine , America and Eastern Europe whose Orthodox Christian Identity is the core of their foundation ….
“I was reading a document that was authored by George Soros over 10 years ago in which he talks specifically about this all-out war that would ultimately come against Russia because he said this ‘was the last nationalist state that rests on a foundation of orthodox christian culture with Russian identity at its core. That has to be removed. (Soros) even goes so far as to talk about how useful it would be if it was east Europeans whose lives were expended in this process and not west Europeans who simply won’t take the casualties. This is not a minor matter. This is the kind of thinking that is so destructive and so evil, in my judgement, that that’s what we’re really dealing with in our own countries and I think Putin recognize this Colonel Douglas Macgregor- U.S Army – you Tube
“First on Ukraine. One of the things that many people recognized about you was that you, during the revolutions of 1989, funded a lot of dissident activities, civil society groups in Eastern Europe and Poland, the Czech Republic, and America . Are you doing similar things in Ukraine?
Yes,I set up a foundation in Ukraine before Ukraine became independent of Russia. And the foundation has been functioning ever since. And it played a — an important part in events now. CNN News
We need to stop pretending every “pro‑democracy protest” is organic. History shows how easily protests can be manipulated, infiltrated, or weaponized into regime‑change operations against legitimate governments — all based on unproven accusations, foreign funding, and manufactured outrage. Ukraine is the clearest example.
Billions of U.S. dollars poured into NGOs, media networks, and political groups since 1991.
Foreign officials on the ground choosing which opposition leaders should run the country.
A government overthrown after rejecting an EU bailout in favor of a better Russian offer.
“Nothing appears in this world , as it appears …Your world lipper, abd their world .. EU “
Hey guys. Let’s consider one aspect that we don’t mention, as far as Ukraine being an independent nation that has every right to be independent. Ukrainians have been fighting this war longer than World War 1. They have been dying for their country for almost five years!!.
During WWI, French, Russians and Germans revolted against the slaughter, even though they were fighting for their country. For those that look into history and pick apart who was a Nazi, how many Russians were in Kiev or what the percentage of their population is of what faith, they are overlooking the truth that stares us in the face. Why would a people sacrifice so much, for so long, if they didnt believe that what they’re giving–the most valuable that they can give,— which is their life, is worth the sacrifice?
Why haven’t they revolted against their leaders? Ask yourselves, would you fight and give up your youth for a cause that you didnt believe in?
Markos. You are lost in all the minutae that you’re always citing. By telling Joseph, a good man, with common sense and well versed in history, that he’s “propagandist skull” is unbecoming. He has his opinions, as you have yours. To be a propagandist, you would have to have some profit or ideological motive. You have also said that to me previously. Unless you can prove that Joseph or I have such a motive, it shows desperation on your part.
As we all know, Russia is currently facing a grim prospect, as the Ukrainians are deploying drones. Who are we to tell them that they’re not real patriots. I congratulate them as a matter of fact.
Bob – as someone who has been following Ukraine developments for more time than 99.9% of analysts I can tell you that your approach is not helpful. First, you ignore hundreds of years of history, all of which disprove your main points. Most of all Russia has successfully repelled all invasions from the West the last 400 years – and this is the latest one. Even Angela Merkel admitted it clearly that they signed the Minsk agreements to buy time to arm Ukraine. Second, the Russians and the Iranians destroyed the Khazarian Jews who then spread to the West and accumulated enormous power and include families such as the Rothchilds. The Rothschilds have allegedly accumulated so much wealth (over 300 trillion as some estimated) that only breaking up Russia and stealing its endless mineral wealth would satisfy their barbaric appetites… They were behind most wars the last 200 years making money from all sides, they were behind many colonialist schemes… but they have a special hatred for Russia because the Orthodox Russians defeated them. Hence the emphasis on Orthodoxy: these monsters – who marry their brothers, sisters and cousins to contain their wealth to the family, have well analyzed the Russian culture, they know Tolstoy and Dostoyevsky, and they deeply understand that the biggest driving force behind Russia’s sustained power and multiple victories is ORTHODOXY. This is why they are making every effort possible to destroy it. They have the same problem with us Greeks…
Nick. I’m not arguing with any of the above. Every country has parts of its history that are shameful, when analyzed by us, modern people who are comfortable in front of our computers.
What I’m saying is that why would the Ukrainians be fighting for over 5 years, if they didnt believe in their leaders and the ultimate objective, which is freedom from Russian domination. Are you saying that the Ukrainians are fighting for the Rothchilds? For what? To die so the Rothchilds would get rich? Who would give their life for such a cause? There is something that motivates them.
The division between the Ukrainians and the Russians is more technically than natural. You are talking about the same people racially and culturally. The West (Rothschilds) force the division. Prime example: Zelensky’s native tongue is Russian as is over 60% of Ukrainians yet he was forced to outlaw the use of Russian everywhere even in grocery stores. That’s how disgusting the forced division has been.
Bob,
You keep talking about “minutae”, but you are “swallowing the propaganda Camel” on this Ukraine topic. The same people who you just protested against on Thursday are the ones that supported the creation of a Schism in Orthodoxy by “taking sides” in the Ukraine…and now suddenly you are taking their side? Pick a position and stick with it, man…you can’t serve two masters on this one…
Bob, the Ukraine was a failed state, after about 6 months , when you have no money to fund your government yourself, and you have to depend on billions of dollars from the EU and US! The fact as to why they continue to die and wage war is simple …………………
Ukraine is running out of soldiers.
Millions fled.
Desertions are rising.
Men over 50 and 60 are being pulled off the street and sent to the front with almost no training.
At the same time:
Thousands of foreign fighters and mercenaries from EU and NATO countries are reported in the ranks
Western governments are paying Ukraine’s salaries, pensions, and ministries
The war machine runs on foreign money, not domestic support
So when people ask:
“Why do Ukrainians keep dying for the Zelensky government?”
The honest answer is:
Because the government is funded from abroad,
the war is staffed from abroad,
and the people left inside the country have no choice.
This isn’t patriotism.
This is a population trapped between conscription and collapse!
Michael One.!ia, spot on!
Michael, in the event of WWW3, anyone with nuclear weapons get nuked. In such a scenario, the saving grace of Ukraine may very well be that it doesn’t have nuclear weapons.
If the world is bombed back into the stone ages, then Ukraine may be in a better position than most other countries.
Michael one. First, I want to congratulate you on a coherent, free of spelling errors opinion. Maybe you can stick to this formula for your future opinions. And please, drop the zionist-nazi-communist and whatever else you come up with.
As far as the contents of you diagnosis of Ukraine’s condition, after five years of war, I’m sure that you have visited the country, spoke to its people, traveled to the front line, took the measure of its damages, asked Ukrainian refugees of what they have gone through, and you, personally counted its standing army for deserters. You also looked at its finances and came to the conclusion that they are being supported from abroad, with no personal sacrifices.
For myself, that I have not had the luxury of personal inspection, I can only see what is evident. Ukrainians are fighting for their country for five years, aqainst an adversary much bigger than themselves, with more resources that Ukrainians posses. That adversary has the help of China and other nations contribute to here army. While Ukraine does not have the right to accept help from anyone. And all I see is a nation that still stands and I admire it for it./ Is it perfect? No one is.
