EDITOR’S NOTE. The two videos posted here come from two diametrically different people who are no longer alive. The first is known to all of you, the former AB of Greece, Chrysostomos of blessed memory, a beloved figure. The second is the late soccer player and coach, Nikos Alefantos, also beloved and respected by all… The first is a man of the Church who has promoted many valiant hierarchs – among them, he promoted Met. Mesogaias Nikolaos. The second is a man of the people who spent much of his life in the neighborhoods of the Greek capital and especially my hometown, Pireaus. He is not educated, but his clear voice reflects 100% of the sincere feelings of ordinary Greek people. Their voices distill countless centuries of Greek history and tradition and are timeless… It is these voices that give us confidence that such degenerate constructs as the Mitsotakis “same-sex marriage” legislation will not pass…

TRANSLATION of the video below: “Why do we have here in Greece such a close connection between the religion and the homeland, between the Church and the state? Why do we have something that is non-existent anywhere else? We answer and say: Here, we have a history that does not exist anywhere else. Here, we have a cultural tradition that does not exist anywhere else. If you can, show me another European country where the Church sacrificed itself for this nation. Ten Patriarchs of Constantinople gave their lives over 400 years of enslavement to the Ottomans. Over one hundred Orthodox Hierarchs were sacrificed. Six thousand priests, deacons, and monks were sacrificed in this struggle. Nobody should be fooled by what happens elsewhere; therefore, a suit that has been cut and sewn in the measures of some other people cannot be forced on us by anyone!…
Translation of the second video: Sorry, this is beyond my “pay grade”!… But it’s plain language – I think you will get the gist of it just by looking at his gestures!… He starts with, “Their 14-year-old child will ask: Dad, how did you become pregnant?” (uncontrollable laughter…) And he finished his rant on “same-sex marriage” with an exclamation: “If we accept this, our society is ridiculed…” ENJOY!!

They should come up with a sequel to an older classic song by Bithikotsis (I believe)…”Που εισαι καημενε, Περικλη…”, or the even other older song “οι Πρωθυπουργοι”
