EDITOR’S NOTE (Nick Stamatakis) Helleniscope has noted several times that among Greece’s ecumenical foundations (Culture, Navigation, Orthodoxy, Diaspora), the most powerful is Culture for apparent reasons.  And Greece’s diplomats, who have shown us many signs of diachronical incompetence, think they should not do much because these ecumenical foundations work for them.  Yet, with such powerful weapons, they could change humanity if they were not as laid back as they are!!

A few months ago, we noted that Mikis Theodorakis wrote both the most beautiful song for the Holocaust (Mauthausen Ballad) and the first Palestinian National Anthem (link here). And we have noted several times recently that popular Greek music is trendy among the Israelis (and I am sure among the Arabs also). I am hearing the last few years that Israelis take weekend vacations to Athens just to go to the night clubs and enjoy the Greek music!! (In the meantime, they find time to snatch any real estate available in Greece as they have to hedge their bets with all that is going on with the war…

Below, enjoy young Israeli woman, Hadar, who has enchanted her audiences with her bouzouki playing… Amazing!!
