I am sure Tucker would give a much better answer… But let me note here that it was the hegemonic, exploitative West who involved religion into the Ukraine conflict as a basic part of their strategy. Which strategy is founded by the now famous “Clash Of Civilizations” by Samuel Huffington. This famous book explained the need of the West to defeat the Orthodox civilization, of which Russia was a central part. This book started as a paper in the mid1990s. The West made it very obvious (esp. by involving Pat. Bartholomew) that their goal is to destroy Orthodoxy.. How hard is it now to understand that Pat. Kirill sees that as a “holy war”. Many of us also have a similar view because the many “novelties” introduced by Bartholomew and esp. his hidden acceptance of homosexuality destroys our Orthodox Faith.
It sounds like your main problem with Patriarch Bartholomew is that “his hidden acceptance of homosexuality destroys our Orthodox Faith”. I can’t seem to find this anywhere. Perhaps because it’s hidden. Let me know if you find it. If we find it, will that restore our Orthodox Faith?

The American incursions into Iraq and Syria, and American carte blanche support for Israel, have led to the decimation of the Christian populations of the Middle East. All of the money that the U. S. has sent to Ukraine has helped pay for the killing of hundreds of thousands of our fellow Orthodox Christians. Do the Evangelical war hawks realize how they have betrayed their Christian brethren in the Eastern Hemisphere by supporting such belligerent foreign policies? I don’t think they consider the Orthodox and other Eastern Christians to be brethren who worship the same God. Lord, have mercy on their souls come Judgement Day.
