EDITOR’S NOTE: US News & World Report is known for its “lists” according to various factors (economy, education, military, etc.), but this one caught many of us by surprise: according to the magazine’s newest list, Russia (with less than 10% of the American GDP) ranks #1 in military strength, with the US coming second and China third!! Well, if the US spends over a trillion dollars on its defense budget annually – compared to less than $100 billion spent by Russia – and still comes back second, then this country is in big trouble…
We all know the answer to all this: it has to do with extreme corruption in the DC Swamp. On a secondary level, it is directly related to the erosion of meritocracy across all fields in America and the decline in STEAM education. In plain terms, Russian middle schoolers know more math and science than American college graduates. This long-term trend eventually led to Russia being over ten years ahead in missile technology; the advanced Russian missiles render the hugely expensive American aircraft carriers to little more than “floating steel bathtubs,” unable to defend themselves from missiles flying over 20 times the speed of sound as they can change direction in their course to the target…
America has to become America again to reverse this course: no “woke”-anything in education and the military and everywhere else, no “identity” culture. On the opposite, emphasis on meritocracy and solid education.
