When you watch the photos below, you cannot but agree with “Elliniki Lysi” leader Mr. Velopoulos, who sharply criticized Mr.Mitsotakis for taking his whole family, all expenses paid by the Greek people, to a trip to Canada, which was official by any definition (but it was not called so): it included the multi-million dollar purchase of 9 firefighting planes and extensive participation along with Canada’s PM Trudeau in the Greek Community’s celebration of our Independence Day. Not calling the trip “official” to justify the circus of family and others’ participation was equivalent to hiding behind his finger… Overall, his trip to Canada gave the impression of a Saudi King or an authoritarian leader making foreign state visits with his family…
As the trip was ending, he was aggressively confronted by a supporter of the Palestinian cause who devastated him with all the right questions…
