Many in the West ignore that Iran has a solid, historic scientific background, which has grown in recent years with the establishment and operation of many universities over the last four decades. Here are some facts about Iran a country of 92 million people:
- It produces over 200,000 engineering graduates annually, in the top five countries globally.
- It ranked 5th worldwide in total annual STEM graduates.
- About 70% of engineering graduates in the country are women!! (You, the idiots accusing Iran of suppressing women, please close your wide-open mouths.)
- Over 5% of its GDP is going to education, not wasted on “gender studies” or the corruption of the political system.
Therefore, it is safe to assume that should Iran have a goal of finishing a nuclear weapon, it would be achieved expeditiously… Likely in weeks…

I doubt that Iran has the capacity to launch nuclear weapons at Israel, or anyone else at this point. Which brings us to the waste of lives and resources of the dual attack on Iran. At least, Israel has been under threat by Iran. But there never was any threat to America.
We were dragged into a war that Trump wanted. We are watching what happens when you put into the Oval Office an impulsive, unstable man who ran for president largely to get revenge on his political foes. Then he surrounded himself with a cabinet chosen for its handsome looks and its willingness to put loyalty to Trump over loyalty to the Constitution. Add to that Republican majorities in the House and Senate willing to write him blank checks, and it all eventually leads to sloppy, undisciplined decision-making, including starting a huge war in the Middle East with no plan for the morning after.
Trump is a man-child playing with matches — the world’s most powerful military — in a gas-filled room.
If all of that were not bad enough, we have a secretary of defense, Pete Hegseth, who holds extreme Christian nationalist beliefs and, last week, reportedly held a prayer session at the Pentagon in which he prayed for U.S. troops to deliver “overwhelming violence of action against those who deserve no mercy. … We ask these things with bold confidence in the mighty and powerful name of Jesus Christ.”
Have no doubt: Iran has the capacity to deliver nuclear weapons as it has missile technology more advanced than Israel and the US. It has hypersonic missiles. It also has the nuclear material. The only question remains how long it will take Iranian scientists (with the likely help of N.Korea, to put together the bomb.
