Elpidophoros, who, to the utter shame of the Omogenia and Greece, is still an archbishop in America, after he met with the bishop of the “Jolly of Athens” Hieronymos and his statement that “the children of same-sex couples [in the Orthodox Church] will be baptized if they decide it themselves”, he “fooled” the grave old bishop (Ieronymos) by brazenly declaring that: “In our own Church we do not consider that there is any obstacle for a child of any origin” in order to baptize him.”
“In our own church”? And who is, you faltered bishop, this “Church”?
Is the “church” that secretly baptizes children of sodomites in a “foreign” Church?
Is it the “church” that caused the religious civil war in Ukraine?
Is it the “church” that prays with other religions and heretics?
Is it the “church” that replaced the Holy Communion tongs with a plastic spoon?
Is it the “church” that, instead of the Holy Gospel, donates the Koran?
Is it the “church” that accepts the antichalcedonians (monophysites) as orthodox?
Is it the “church” that divided the One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church?
Is it the “church” of audacity and absolutism with: “Whether our friends like the Russians or not, sooner or later they will follow the solution given by the Ecumenical Patriarchate, because they have no other choice”?
Is it the “church” of non-existent privileges with a falsification of the interpretation of the 28th Holy Canon of the 4th Ecumenical Council?
Is it the “church” of blasphemers who commune with heretical and unbaptized Franks?
Is it the “church” that shamelessly declares that “Orthodoxy does not possess all the Truth”?
Is it the “church” that co-operates and co-prays with Popish and Unitarian pseudo-bishops?
Is it the “church” that considers that: “Our forefathers who bequeathed to us the division were unfortunate victims of the archekakus serpent and are already in the hands of the righteous God”?
Only in such a “counterfeit church” is there “no obstacle for a child of any origin,” and naturalization in the Kingdom of God is done with false certificates.
Only in such a “counterfeit church,” malicious Elpidophoros, can it be transformed into a commercially exploitable version, the Holy Sacrament of Baptism.

Είναι η «εκκλησία» που, βαπτίζει λάθρα σε «ξένη» Εκκλησία παιδιά σοδομιτών;
Είναι η «εκκλησία» που, προκάλεσε τον εκκλησιαστικό εμφύλιο στην Ουκρανία;
Είναι η «εκκλησία» που, συν προσεύχεται με αλλόδοξους και αιρετικούς;
Είναι η «εκκλησία» που, αντικατέστησε τη λαβίδα της Θείας Κοινωνίας με πλαστικό κουτάλι;
Είναι η «εκκλησία» που, αντί του Ιερού Ευαγγελίου δωρίζει το Κοράνι;
Είναι η «εκκλησία» που, δέχεται ως ορθοδόξους τους αντιχαλκηδονίους ;
Είναι η «εκκλησία» που, διαίρεσε τη Μία Αγία Καθολική και Αποστολική Εκκλησία;
Είναι η «εκκλησία» του θράσους και του απολυταρχισμού με το: «Είτε αρέσει στους φίλους μας τους Ρώσους είτε δεν αρέσει, αργά ή γρήγορα θα ακολουθήσουν την λύση που θα δώσει το Οικουμενικό Πατριαρχείο, διότι δεν έχουν άλλη επιλογή»;
Είναι η «εκκλησία» των ανύπαρκτων προνομίων με πλαστογράφηση της ερμηνείας του 28ου Ιερού Κανόνα της Δ΄ Οικουμενικής Συνόδου ;
Είναι η «εκκλησία» των βλάσφημων, που κοινωνούν αιρετικούς και αβάπτιστους Φράγκους;
Είναι η «εκκλησία» που αναίσχυντα δηλώνει ότι η «Ορθοδοξία δεν κατέχει όλην την Αλήθειαν»;
Είναι η «εκκλησία» που συλλειτουργεί και συμπροσεύχεται με Παπικούς και Ουνίτες ψευδοεπισκόπους;
Είναι η «εκκλησία» που θεωρεί ότι : «Οι κληροδοτήσαντες εις ημάς την διάσπασιν προπάτορες ημών υπήρξαν ατυχή θύματα του αρχεκάκου όφεως και ευρίσκονται ήδη εις χείρας του δικαιοκρίτου Θεού»;
Μόνο σε μια τέτοια «παραποιημένη εκκλησία» δεν «υπάρχει κάποιο κώλυμα για ένα παιδί οποιασδήποτε προέλευσης» και η πολιτογράφηση στη Βασιλεία του Θεού, γίνεται με ψεύτικα πιστοποιητικά.
Μόνο σε μια τέτοια «νοθευμένη εκκλησία» κακόδοξε Ελπιδοφόρε, μπορεί να μεταλλαχτεί σε εμπορικά εκμεταλλεύσιμη εκδοχή, το Ιερό του Βαπτίσματος Μυστήριο.

The truth is that in Turkey the authorities do not allow them to be in public with their priestly robes. But on the other side of this he is proud of this fact and he said so recently!! And he forces the GOA priests to “westernise” their appearance…
Thanks for clarifying, Nick. I didn’t realize the picture was taken in Turkey. It still looks really strange! And it is very sad that he forces GOA priests to “westernise”. Those of us that are not Greek look at the Mt. Athos in great awe precisely because they are probably the least westernized in everything that they do. Strict fasting, lots of praying, being serious about being orthodox. I hope he doesn’t spend thousands of dollars on his suits!

The scandal is less with the expensive suits, and more with the “GOARCH behind-the-scenes mandate” to force parish priests to wear suits and Roman Catholic “collars” as well in public, as well as to regulate their beards down to a length “shorter than that of their Metropolitan”, in clear violation of tradition and Canons…there are a multitude of examples, but the priests involved are remaining silent, even when they are transferred out of their parish for “disobedience” on this point…(with no other parish to go to)…ask around, off the record I’m sure you’ll be able to confirm with the clergy that this happens from time to time…on the record, they remain silent.
Another scandal somewhat related… the “monthly Ecumenical Synod meetings”, where on a rotating basis (1 year at a time?) a couple GOARCH representatives from the U.S. eparchial synod fly (usually business class) to Constantinople…that’s 12 round trip business class tickets x 2 or 3 “representatives” per year….(up to 24 to 36 tickets) all funded by the “forced tax” on parishes…
To quote Mel Brooks on this one… “it’s good to be the King”…
When questioned about why they can’t discuss “via zoom”, the Patriarchate claimed that the synod meetings have historically always been “in person”, so monthly travel (business class) is an absolute necessity.
Perhaps that may be a historical truth, but historically, it is also true that in past centuries these Synods did NOT meet once per month, and it took days / weeks to travel on boat, foot, horse, camel in order to even get to the Synod…

But there should not be so much waste with all these extravagant trips. I don’t know of any Bishop that is visiting his Patriarch so often. It’s not like they are politicians solving imminent world problems. And I thought they cared about global warming. All those trips are polluting the planet.

None of this should be a surprise to anyone.
That’s why there is such a massive dichotomy between GOARCH and the Churches of Greece and Cyprus. Elpi is fashioning GOARCH into Byzantine Episcopalianism, a liberal social club for the wealthy.
He’s moving full steam ahead with this goal and has not yet been stopped. Based off of the agenda for Clergy-Laity this summer it’s sure to be a disaster.
But, who will publicly speak up?
