This is very special – Athos is a great spiritual retreat/adventure for men of today contaminated by Godless secular world that’s exhausted them…
we still pray for the dear Monks who sacrifice their peace on holy mountain to cater to these pilgrims – these pilgrims who need healing.
In order to prevent/avoid further generations from becoming “alphabet soupers”– why aren’t Greek Psychiatrists/Psychologists initiating Studies as to root causes, so that steps could be taken by concerned parents?
My Greek Clinical Psychologist Childhood Friend said– bottom-line– look at very, very early toddler-stage parent-child formations/ relationships. She said she hasn’t studied Greek families, however–why not start?

I just read Mountain of Silence by Kyriacos Markides trips to this holy mountain & eventually I’m going too.
This video was produced by my own Godson, and three godsons on that trip. A beautiful job and to the glory of Jesus Christ and our dear Panagia. Holy Orthodoxy dear ones!
As the world descends into madness, the desire for the truth grows among many. Here in the states many are waking up to the Truth of our Faith. Yet still the enemy would love to cause such disruption in the Church.
My hat is off to the work of all you folks here in Helleniscope. Helping to wake up the faithful to the disease of ecumenism, secularism and perversity of all kinds.
We know however, that the Lord will uphold the pious Orthodox Christians. He will preserve His Church, till He comes again in glory. We await that day with Hope and anticipation. Yet, one more day Lord, so that we might fully repent!

Amen! We will not give up. Christ is victorious, and this is His Church. We are deeply saddened over what has happened in Greece. Thankful however that the Hierarchs and Mount Athos made the best statements on the issue. I do fear for the sake of the clergy that at some point the government will put in the pressure to perform such unholy “unions”… I struggle to find a word! Anyway, a blessed Lord’s day to all. We are together in the Heavenly Kingdom as we are partakers of Christ Jesus our common hope!
