The Philanthropic Foundation of Trypousians of Chios honored the Mayor of Chios, Dr.Malafis, last Saturday night in the Sand Castle Hall of Franklin Square, Long Island. Over five hundred participants enjoyed a wonderful event to benefit the “Autism Association of Chios.” Dr. Malafis was a Grand Marshal of the Greek Independence Parade this year. He has been a participant in the politics of Chios and the Aegean Islands for many years (Please link here for his biography βιογραφικο Μαλαφη). Our congratulations – the event was a great success!
