In the last two weeks, President Trump has repeatedly communicated to Netanyahu that launching an Israeli strike on Iran would be unwise while nuclear negotiations are ongoing, signaling strong U.S. coordination aimed at preserving the diplomatic channel. At the same time, U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff is scheduled to meet Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi in Oman (Muscat) for the sixth round of talks aimed at hammering out a nuclear deal. These discussions build on previous rounds held in Muscat and Rome this spring, where Witkoff has been at the forefront of indirect negotiations, relaying U.S. proposals through Omani mediators.

Concurrently, Witkoff is also holding briefings with warmongering U.S. senators in Washington (almost all of them in the pockets of the Military Industrial Complex), warning about potential Iranian military retaliation to an Israeli strike, highlighting his central role in both the diplomatic and security dimensions of the crisis.

In the meantime, there is almost unanimous consensus that EVERYONE (including Iran, Russia, Saudi Arabia, and even China), agrees with the basic parameters of the deal.  Here is what has been agreed:

  • Uranium enrichment cap: Iran was reportedly willing to freeze enrichment at 60% and possibly reduce output in exchange for phased sanctions relief.

  • Inspections: Tehran agreed in principle to restore limited IAEA inspections at key sites, such as Natanz and Fordow, although not full access under the “Additional Protocol”.

  • Prisoner exchange and unfreezing assets: There was broad agreement on prisoner releases and the unfreezing of up to $10 billion in Iranian overseas funds.

  • Oil exports: The U.S. was prepared to informally permit increased Iranian oil exports, thereby supporting Iran’s economy without requiring formal congressional approval.

Characteristically, on June 7, Omani and EU mediators told journalists that a “framework” was ready, and both sides were “90–95% aligned” on technical terms.

And so, as the possibility of peace was becoming real, Bibi Netanyahu and his Zionist friends in Israel and in DC. did everything possible to derail the talks. If peace is achieved, Bibi knows he will end up in jail and the DC warmongers will be out of business and out of power for a long time… Here is what they did the last few days:

  • The U.S. evacuated non-essential embassy staff in Iraq amid warnings Israel is ready to strike Iran.

  • President Trump confirmed an Israeli attack “could very well happen” soon.

  • Israeli Air Force strike plans are finalized and await political approval.

  • Israeli defense leaders Yoav Gallant and Herzi Halevi have greenlit the operations.

  • Analysts believe Israel sees 2025 as a narrow window to strike Iran’s nuclear facilities.

  • Iran has conducted air-defense drills around key nuclear sites like Natanz and Fordow.

  • Tehran has deployed extra air-defense systems and is on nightly high alert.

  • Nuclear negotiations are faltering over U.S. demands to halt Iran’s uranium enrichment COMPLETELY. This was not on the negotiation table at the beginning.

  • If talks fail by mid-2025, the risk of military confrontation increases sharply.

  • In 2024, leaked U.S. intel showed Israel was rehearsing attack scenarios on Iran.

My evaluation of the situation is that Israel and its DC backers are on the verge of a rude awakening. If the Houthis forced a US Aircraft Carrier to leave the area, you can imagine what will happen in a confrontation with Iran, backed by Russia and China. Russia has already supplied Iran with the most advanced air defenses, and the two have signed an extensive defense pact in January.  Israel, whose air defenses proved to have many holes last time Iran fired missiles against it, would be best advised to sit tight and wait for the result of the negotiations.  If it attacks now, it risks its whole existence.

WHO IS RIGHT, WHO IS WRONG?

In this short video, historian Avi Shlaim, a prominent Israeli-British scholar, teaches Danny Ayalon, a former Israeli ambassador to the United States and Deputy Foreign Minister, a valuable lesson. The main escape would be for Ayalon to promote the moral argument against “Iranian theocracy” but this would be ridiculous: An Israeli “exceptionalist”, representing the “Chosen” people with their Zionist perspectives, viewing all Palestinians as barbarian “Amelek” (the eternal enemies of Jews), has no right to claim the moral high ground… Enjoy it!

Finally, if you want a balanced, in-depth analysis of the war approach, Alex Christoforou is one of the best.

  1. Excellent article. I have been reading many articles on this escalating situation the last few days. It’s pretty serious.
