Yesterday on Capitol Hill, what began as oversight of the Epstein files turned into one of the most explosive hearings of the year.
Attorney General Pam Bondi appeared before the House Judiciary Committee to answer questions about the Department of Justice’s handling of documents tied to Jeffrey Epstein. Within minutes, the tone shifted from procedural to confrontational.
Democratic members pressed Bondi over heavy redactions in the released Epstein-related materials. They questioned whether politically sensitive names were shielded, whether victims’ identities were fully protected, and whether transparency was being selectively applied.
Bondi forcefully defended the DOJ’s process. She argued that redactions were necessary to protect victims and preserve investigative integrity. But the exchanges quickly escalated beyond policy.
At one point, Bondi lashed out at Representative Jamie Raskin, calling him a “washed-up loser lawyer.” Audible reactions filled the chamber. The insult marked a turning point — the hearing pivoted from oversight to open hostility.
Moments later, Representative Becca Balint confronted Bondi over what she described as broader accountability concerns within the Department of Justice. Their exchange grew heated, with interruptions and raised voices dominating the room.

Bondi accused Balint of contributing to what she described as an “anti-Semitic culture.” Balint firmly rejected the accusation. The confrontation escalated further before Balint ultimately left the room, visibly frustrated.
Republicans largely rallied behind Bondi, framing the questioning as partisan attacks. Democrats argued that the attorney general’s combative tone — particularly the personal insults — undermined the seriousness of oversight.
Beyond the spectacle, the stakes are substantial.
The Epstein files remain politically explosive. Questions about document handling, transparency, and accountability continue to fuel public scrutiny. For critics, the hearing reinforced concerns about institutional opacity. For supporters, Bondi’s sharp responses signaled resilience under pressure.
But the optics are clear.
The fact is the Trump pre-election supporters will never forgive him for downplaying the Epstein files and not fully releasing them as he promised to do.

Regretfully, I believe it’s time for Bondi to be let go. Think of how things would be instead if Matt Gaetz had been appointed AG. Or Dan Bongino sent to head the Secret Service.

I watched the video. In my opinion, the Trump administration must read the names of every person who violated a child or teenager. There must be consequences for pedophiles beside reading the names of perpetrators. This issue is tearing our nation apart amongst others. Let us attend! Let us make sure, as citizens, that justice is done.
According to The Hill, the DHS shutdown is imminent after Senate Democrats block Homeland Security bill. Supposedly, the TSA will mostly be affected. So, citizens, if you plan on flying…well, good luck. Write a thank you note to Pam Bondi and Donald Trump.
One more thought. “Truth Would Collapse The Entire Government,” stated Bondi. We must assume that she supports a continuous stream of lies from her statement.

Bondi is what happens “when chickens come home to roost” When Trump was running, even his fervent followers did not think that the state of the country would be in such a mess after only one year. Situations that try peoples’ patience have been heaped upon us almost daily.
The problem is that a majority of voters—small one at that— believed that Trump, being a non-politician was actually going to “drain the swamp” as he kept saying. Unfortunately for the country, he swamped the drain. Not one of his cabinet has passed the smell test. They all stink of incompetence, selfishness, and sycophancy.
Bondi’s performance yesterday, was a case study of what not to expect from this administration. Do not expect justice and the rule of law from the person who is supposed to guard both.
While congressmen were asking Bondi about the Epstein cover up, she would raise her voice and demand they apologize to Trump. Then, she would say with a straight face about the stock market hitting 50,000. Then she would praise her boss, taking the role of a yelping poodle, expecting a belly rub and a bone from her master. Why would people debase themselves to such an extent?
