ΕΛΛΗΝΙΚΗ ΜΕΤΑΦΡΑΣΗ ΑΚΟΛΟΥΘΕΙ

I was going this morning through the official reactions from various “centers” on the barbaric act by Erdogan to turn Moni Tis Choras into a mosque.  Anemic is the word that best expresses the feeling.  Words thrown on a piece of paper without serious thought, without care and above all, without explaining the consequences for the Turks…

Mitsotakis calls Moni Tis Choras “A Byzantine Mosque”…

Greek PM Mitsotakis, following a very dry and short statement by the Greek Foreign inistry who reads as if they are talking about an irrelevant issue on the other side of the globe (link here), proceeded to express his “disappointment” and as he was responding to a question he even called Moni Tis Choras he called it “A Byzantine Mosque”…  You can see this unbelievable faux-pas below…

Any serious prime minister who respects himself and the people he represents would cancel his trip to Turkey (next Monday, May 13).  Not only did he not do that, but he also took another blow from Erdogan, who refused to renew the visa of Pat’s Bartholomew’s Archdeacon!! Erdogan will probably negotiate to renew the Archdeacon’s visa by demanding God knows what privileges for the “suffering” Muslim Minority of Western Thrace…  But 70 years after Turkey expelled all Greeks from Istanbul (over 250,000) not a pip about them… Mitsotakis should have treated the Turks in the same way saying: We will immediately close any Turkish mosques in Greece that you consider monuments (like the one which opened recently in Salonica) until you reverse your decision – period. As I have said, we cannot expect anything better from the Mitsotakis Family.  They have been selling out Greece since the end of WWII…
GOA throws a lot of words of disappointment (link here) on paper. It condemns the turn of a world heritage museum into a mosque but in such a polite way that it even recognizes “the Turkish government’s prerogative to make decisions as it sees appropriate.”  No it is not the Turkish government’s prerogative!! Who are you kidding? The Moni Tis Choras was a “World Heritage” Site recognized by UNESCO.  You are either part of international organizations and respect their basic decisions, or you are not.
It continues by stating that the Turkish acts affect “the world center of Orthodoxy, the Ecumenical Patriarchate, is located in Istanbul”… P-lease… After the Schism in Orthodoxy, the Ecumenical Patriarchate lost most of its clout, and the Turks knew it.  They also know that the Russian Patriarchate has plans to open an Exarchate in Turkey.  One more way to please their new allies as they abandon the West for Eurasianist centers of world power.
In 2015, a phone call from President Putin led to the re-opening of the sacred Monastery of Panagia Sumela of Pontos after a hundred years.  In recent memory, this was the ONLY advancement of the Patriarchate’s religious rights. At the same time, the State Dept. and the supposed power of the US, NATO, and the EU were unable to accomplish the re-opening of the Halki Theological School.  The Russian leadership could quickly stop the turning of Hagia Sophia and Moni Tis Horas into mosques. But they will not lift a finger after Bartholomew’s hugely mistaken “Ukrainian Autocephaly” move. 
An a last point: AB Elpidophoros does NOT sign this announcement with his personal name and title.  Do you think Ab Iakovos would be afraid to do so? But Elpidophoros is still in the race for Patriarch and his biggest support is Erdogan and the Turks! God help us…
As for the State Department’s announcement (link here), it reads more as a light caressing of the Turkish atrocity – when it should have been a slap. But what do we expect from those “powerful” agents who failed to open the Halki Seminary for 50 years? Lest they disturb the “climate” of “reconciliation” and “sharing” in the Eastern Mediterranean as their puppet Mitsotakis sells out his country’s sovereignty to serve foreign interests.
Oh, “God of Hellas,” come and save this beautiful country from these evil people…

Αναιμικές Δηλώσεις για τη «Μονή της Χώρας» του Μητσοτάκη, Αρχιεπισκοπή, Στέιτ Ντιπάρτμεντ

Διάβαζα σήμερα το πρωί τις επίσημες αντιδράσεις από διάφορα «κέντρα» για τη βάρβαρη πράξη του Ερντογάν να μετατρέψει τη Μονή της Χώρας σε τζαμί. “Αναιμικές” είναι η λέξη που εκφράζει καλύτερα το συναίσθημα. Λέξεις πεταμένες σε ένα χαρτί χωρίς σοβαρή σκέψη, χωρίς φροντίδα και πάνω απ’ όλα, χωρίς να εξηγούν τις συνέπειες για τους Τούρκους…

Ο Μητσοτάκης αποκαλεί τη Μονή της Χώρας «Βυζαντινό Τζαμί»…

Ο Έλληνας Πρωθυπουργός Μητσοτάκης, μετά από μια πολύ στεγνή και σύντομη δήλωση του ελληνικού Υπουργείου Εξωτερικών που δίνει την εντύπωση ότι μιλάνε για ένα άσχετο θέμα στην άλλη άκρη του πλανήτη (σύνδεσμος εδώ), προχώρησε να εκφράσει την «απογοήτευσή» του και ως Απαντούσε σε μια ερώτηση που αποκαλούσε ακόμη και τη Μονή της Χώρας την ονόμασε “Ένα Βυζαντινό Τζαμί”…  Μπορείτε να δείτε αυτό το απίστευτο faux-pas παρακάτω…

Ενας σοβαρός πρωθυπουργός σέβεται τον εαυτό του και τον λαό που εκπροσωπεί θα ακύρωνε το ταξίδι του στην Τουρκία (την ερχόμενη Δευτέρα 13 Μαΐου). Όχι μόνο δεν το έκανε αυτό, αλλά δέχτηκε και άλλο ένα χτύπημα από τον Ερντογάν, ο οποίος αρνήθηκε να ανανεώσει τη βίζα του Αρχιδιακόνου του Πατ. Βαρθολομαίου!! Ο Ερντογάν πιθανότατα θα διαπραγματευτεί την ανανέωση της βίζα του Αρχδιακόνου απαιτώντας ο θεός ξέρει τι προνόμια για την «ταλαιπωρημένη» μουσουλμανική μειονότητα της Δυτικής Θράκης…  Αλλά 70 χρόνια αφότου η Τουρκία έδιωξε όλους τους Έλληνες από την Κωνσταντινούπολη (πάνω από 250.000) ούτε κουβέντα για αυτούς… Ο Μητσοτάκης θα έπρεπε να αντιμετωπίζει τους Τούρκους με τον ίδιο τρόπο λέγοντας: Θα κλείσουμε αμέσως όσα τουρκικά τζαμιά στην Ελλάδα θεωρείτε μνημεία (όπως αυτό που άνοιξε πρόσφατα στη Θεσσαλονίκη) μέχρι να αντιστρέψετε την απόφασή σας – τελεία και παύλα. Όπως έχω πει, δεν μπορούμε να περιμένουμε κάτι καλύτερο από την οικογένεια Μητσοτάκη. Ξεπουλάνε την Ελλάδα από το τέλος του Β’ Παγκοσμίου Πολέμου…

Η Αρχιεπισκοπή πετάει πολλά λόγια απογοήτευσης (σύνδεσμος εδώ) στο χαρτί και δεν καταφέρνει καν σωστή γραμματική… Καταδικάζει τη μετατροπή ενός μουσείου παγκόσμιας κληρονομιάς σε τζαμί αλλά με τόσο ευγενικό τρόπο που αναγνωρίζει ακόμη και «το Το προνόμιο της τουρκικής κυβέρνησης να λαμβάνει αποφάσεις όπως κρίνει σκόπιμο». Όχι, δεν είναι προνόμιο της τουρκικής κυβέρνησης!! Ποιον κοροϊδεύετε; Η Μονή της Χώρας είναι Μνημείο «Παγκόσμιας Κληρονομιάς» αναγνωρισμένο από την UNESCO. Είτε είστε μέλος διεθνών οργανισμών και σέβεστε τις βασικές αποφάσεις τους, είτε δεν είστε.

Συνεχίζει αναφέροντας ότι οι τουρκικές πράξεις επηρεάζουν «το παγκόσμιο κέντρο της Ορθοδοξίας, το Οικουμενικό Πατριαρχείο, βρίσκεται στην Κωνσταντινούπολη»... Σιγά τα ωά λέγαμε στον Πειραιά… Μετά το Σχίσμα στην Ορθοδοξία, το Οικουμενικό Πατριαρχείο έχασε το μεγαλύτερο μέρος της επιρροής του, και οι Τούρκοι το ξέρουν. Γνωρίζουν επίσης ότι το Ρωσικό Πατριαρχείο έχει σχέδια να ανοίξει Εξαρχάτο στην Τουρκία, όπως έκαναν στην Αφρική. Οι Τούρκοι θα το δεχτούν ευχαρίστως – ένας ακόμη τρόπος να ευχαριστήσουν τους νέους συμμάχους τους καθώς εγκαταλείπουν τη Δύση για ευρασιατικά κέντρα παγκόσμιας δύναμης.

Το 2015, ένα τηλεφώνημα του Προέδρου Πούτιν οδήγησε στην επαναλειτουργία της Ιεράς Μονής της Παναγίας Σουμελά του Πόντου μετά από εκατό χρόνια. Στην πρόσφατη ιστορία, αυτή ήταν η ΜΟΝΗ προώθηση των θρησκευτικών δικαιωμάτων του Πατριαρχείου. Ταυτόχρονα, το Στέιτ Ντιπάρτμεντ και οι υποτιθέμενες δυνάμεις των ΗΠΑ, του ΝΑΤΟ και της ΕΕ δεν μπόρεσαν να ολοκληρώσουν την επαναλειτουργία της Θεολογικής Σχολής της Χάλκης. Η ρωσική ηγεσία θα μπορούσε γρήγορα να σταματήσει τη μετατροπή της Αγίας Σοφίας και της Μονής της Χώρας σε τζαμιά. Αλλά δεν θα σηκώσουν το δάχτυλό τους μετά την εξαιρετικά λανθασμένη κίνηση του Βαρθολομαίου για «Ουκρανική Αυτοκεφαλία».

Τελευταίο σημείο: Ο Αρχ. Ελπιδοφόρος ΔΕΝ υπογράφει αυτήν την ανακοίνωση με το προσωπικό του όνομα και τον τίτλο του. Πιστεύετε ότι ο μακαριστός Αρχ. Ιάκωβος θα φοβόταν να το κάνει; Όμως ο Ελπιδοφόρος εξακολουθεί να είναι στην κούρσα για την διαδοχή του Πατριάρχη και το μεγαλύτερο στήριγμά του είναι ο Ερντογάν και οι Τούρκοι! Ο Θεός να μας βοηθήσει.

Όσο για την ανακοίνωση του Στέιτ Ντιπάρτμεντ (σύνδεσμος εδώ), διαβάζεται περισσότερο ως ένα ελαφρύ χάδι της τουρκικής θηριωδίας – ενώ θα έπρεπε να ήταν χαστούκι. Τι περιμένουμε όμως από εκείνους τους «ισχυρούς» παράγοντες που δεν κατάφεραν να ανοίξουν τη Σχολή της Χάλκης για 50 χρόνια; Για να μην διαταράξουν το «κλίμα» της «συμφιλίωσης» και του «μοιρασιάς» στην Ανατολική Μεσόγειο καθώς η μαριονέτα τους, ο Μητσοτάκης, ξεπουλά την κυριαρχία της χώρας του για να εξυπηρετήσει ξένα συμφέροντα.

Ω, «Θεέ της Ελλάδας» έλα ξανά να σώσεις αυτή την όμορφη χώρα!…

If it isn’t perfectly crystal clear by now that the long line of Greek “rulers” haven’t all sold out Greece, culminating in Mitsotakis, the biggest puppet of all, I don’t know what else could be more clear. He sold out the people, the country, and the Orthodox Church. He is the one who doesn’t give a rat’s ass, so how can we expect anyone else to care? It amazes me how patient the God he doesn’t believe in, is with the likes of traitors like him. Hey, Mitso, aren’t you terrified of visiting your pseudo-friend Erdogan in the heart of enemy territory Turkey? If not, that’s serious bad news (for you). It means you’re a traitor like no other, but also a very idiotic one. Don’t you know there’s no honour among rats?
