EDITOR’S NOTE (Nick Stamatakis).  I said many times that the societal pendulum, which was pushed to the extreme left in recent years, is bound to turn right with the same feverish speed… We now see one of the first indications as the Italian PM Georgia Meloni said and did the self-evident, trying to protect the rights of young children entitled to a father and a mother and not two fathers or two mothers. Society cannot go against nature, noted many Italian lawmakers, and we cannot degrade the role of the woman to that of a reproductive machine… 

In the months and years to come, America will witness the next indication that the pendulum tilts to the right.  Countless parents across the country are revolting as they see their kids at the mercy of teacher’s unions and drag queens who promote sexualization at age 5.  There is no limit to what a dad or a “tiger mom” will do to protect their offspring…

Meloni bans surrogacy for same-sex couples inside and outside Italy

The government of Georgia Meloni adopted a tough law for same-sex couples. It bans surrogacy, inside and outside Italy, and violators face prison terms and fines of up to €1 million.

The bill passed the Lower House in 2023 and was approved by a vote Wednesday in the Senate.It passed by a vote of 85-58, while a protest rally was taking place outside.

Italy’s new law makes surrogacy a rare universal crime that crosses borders, like terrorism or genocide.It foresees a prison sentence of up to 2 years and fines of up to 1 million euros for those who have a child through a surrogate abroad.

In addition, it criminalizes the work of Italian doctors, nurses in foreign clinics who facilitate surrogacy.

Already same-sex couples cannot have a child through adoption, either inside or outside Italy’s Italian borders. The new law effectively puts an end to the last option for homosexuals who wish to become parents.

“Nature decides, not us,” said Senator Susanna Campione, of Meloni’s party. “We want other countries to follow this example. This is a civilized law that protects both the child and the woman. Because we believe that surrogacy essentially turns a woman into a reproductive machine,” he added.

H κυβέρνηση της Τζόρτζια Μελόνι υιοθέτησε έναν σκληρό νόμο για τα ομόφυλα ζευγάρια. Απαγορεύει την παρένθετη μητέρα, εντός και εκτός Ιταλίας, και όσοι παρανομούν αντιμετωπίζουν ποινές φυλάκισης και πρόστιμα έως 1 εκατ. ευρώ.

Άραγε, ο Κυριάκος Μητσοτάκης, θα επιπλήξει την Ιταλίδα πρωθυπουργό στην επόμενη συνάντησή τους; 

Το νομοσχέδιο πέρασε από την Κάτω Βουλή το 2023 και επικυρώθηκε με την ψηφοφορία την Τετάρτη στην Γερουσία. Εγκρίθηκε με ψήφους 85-58, ενώ έξω πραγματοποιούνταν συγκέντρωση διαμαρτυρίας.

Η νέος νόμος της Ιταλίας χαρακτηρίζει την παρένθετη μητρότητα σπάνιο οικουμενικό έγκλημα που υπερβαίνει τα σύνορα, όπως η τρομοκρατία ή η γενοκτονία. Προβλέπει ποινή φυλάκισης έως 2 έτη και πρόστιμα μέχρι 1 εκατ. ευρώ για όσους αποκτήσουν παιδί μέσω παρένθετης μητέρας στο εξωτερικό.

Επιπροσθέτως, ποινικοποιεί το έργο Ιταλών γιατρών, νοσηλευτών σε ξένες κλινικές που διευκολύνουν την παρένθετη μητρότητα.

Ήδη τα ομόφυλα ζευγάρια δεν μπορούν αποκτήσουν παιδί μέσω τεκνοθεσίας, είτε εντός είτε εκτός ιταλικών συνόρων της Ιταλίας. Ο νέος νόμος ουσιαστικά βάζει τέλος και στην τελευταία επιλογή για τους ομοφυλόφιλους που επιθυμούν  να γίνουν γονείς.

«Η φύση αποφασίζει, όχι εμείς» δήλωσε η γερουσιαστής Σουζάνα Καμπιόνε, του κόμματος της Μελόνι. «Θέλουμε κι άλλες χώρες να ακολουθήσουν αυτό το παράδειγμα. Αυτός είναι ένας πολιτισμένος νόμος που προστατεύει τόσο το παιδί, όσο και την γυναίκα. Γιατί πιστεύουμε ότι η παρένθετη μητρότητα ουσιαστικά μετατρέπει την γυναίκα σε μηχανή αναπαραγωγής» πρόσθεσε.
