Today’s presentation of my book, at the book fair on the beach in Thessaloniki, opposite the statue of Alexander the Great, coincides with the announcement of 91 Greeks, who propose the long-awaited political restart .
And, according to today’s front page of the newspaper “Demokratia”, they intend to appeal to two former prime ministers to take on the operation to save us . Who would object to the fact that here, on the last step where we are, each of us is praying for change.
However, I suppose there is no objection to the fact that certain passages of the Memoranda (to which I have already referred in great detail orally and in writing, which is why their repetition here is unnecessary) have sealed our destruction for an unlimited number of decades.
They have impoverished and destitute the Greek people. They have mercilessly sold off their national property. They are behind the crime of Tempi , the third-world situation that prevails in health and education , but they are also overwhelmingly responsible for the sinking of our foreign policy into “calm waters”, as a result of the bottomless servility that the signing of the Memoranda absorbed.
Therefore, although in Democracy (as long as it still exists in our country) everyone is free to form a party, and every Greek can express his or her opinion , I come to repeat what I have already said and written, when the case of restarting is still being prepared.
Meanwhile, as I had the opportunity to see today on the Internet, my opinions regarding our rescue have found numerous supporters .
And I am becoming specific once again, repeating what I said and wrote about it. That is, our “salvation” is agonizingly desirable. However, I am convinced that if it is offered to us by the initiators of the signing of the shameful Memoranda , before they undertake our rescue, they must explain to us what exactly happened and proceed to commit hara-kiri in Greece .
Were they threatened? How and with what methods? After what kind of torture did they succumb? The martyred Greek people have the right to know what exactly happened with the first, second and third Memorandums, and how they were tied hand and foot to their destruction .
And then, those responsible for signing Memoranda and, of course, for their inhumane consequences, must kneel and ask for a huge APOLOGY from the devastated Greek people.
And then, yes, let’s discuss “our salvation”, which inevitably must include a radical revision of the criminal content of the memorandum sections, as well as a clear, thunderous voice demanding the payment of German occupation debts.
In conclusion, I am convinced that our Western approach is taken for granted , so that there is no need for constant confirmation, but above all, so that there are no reasons for our successive disasters in order to secure it. And if its security means our complete national humiliation, it goes without saying that we must reposition it within elementary decent limits .
