We thought we had seen everything regarding the promotion of homosexuality in our Church and community… We thought that the financing of the “Fordahmite” theologians George Demacopoulos and Aristotle Papanicolaou by the Archdiocese would be enough of an effort to introduce and impose the degenerate globalist ideology on our community. But NO! The Columbia University Program In Hellenic Studies, generously financed by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation, which is led by a known globalist, Andreas Dracopoulos, decided it was a good idea to offer a course analyzing “queerness” throughout Greek history. Read part of their course description and see how hot your blood will boil:

I am sorry, but I am truly not able to comment on how we can find “lives of saints in drag in Byzantium.”… It’s beyond me – and I am relatively very well-read in Greek history. I leave it up to you to comment…
I will note, though, that I personally, even before Helleniscope was established, helped a group of Astoria parish council members in a fight so that the $25 million Niarchos Foundation’s grant for the turning of the only Greek-Orthodox School in America, the St.Demetrios School, into a charter school, BE REFUSED. We were victorious!! And now we have a good practical reason to celebrate this victory!! Niarchos Foundation would be actively involved in the school administration through Andreas Dracopoulos, ISN president (who had visited the school many times). Diamataris, TNH Editor, was also involved in the scheme (a few days ago, he supported same-sex unions – link here) and planned to have his daughter (totally unrelated to education) placed on the new School Board…

Homosexuality, as a term, might be a relatively recent invention in Western culture (1891) but bodies that acted and appeared queer(ly) existed long before that. This course will focus on acts, and not identities, in tracing the evolution of writing the queer body from antiquity until today. In doing so it will explore a number of multimodal materials – texts, vases, sculptures, paintings, photographs, movies etc. – in an effort to understand the evolution of the ways in which language(written, spoken or visual) registers these bodies in literature and culture. When we bring the dimension of the body into the way we view the past, we find that new questions and new ways of approaching old questions emerge. What did the ancient actually write about the male/female/trans* (homo)sexual body? Did they actually create gender non-binary statues? Can we find biographies of the lives of saints in drag in Byzantium? How did the Victorians change the way in which we read Antiquity? How is the queer body registered in Contemporary Literature and Culture? Can one write the history of homosexuality as a history of bodies? How are queer bodies constructed and erased by scholars? How can we disturb national archives by globalizing the queer canon of bodies through translation? These are some of the questions that we will examine during the semester.
The course surveys texts from Homer, Sappho, Aeschylus, Euripides, Plato, Theocritus, Ovid, Dio Chrysostom, Lucian, Walt Whitman, Oscar Wilde, Arthur Symonds, Dinos Christianopoulos, Audre Lorde, Larry Kramer, Tony Kushner etc., the work of artists such as Yiannis Tsarouchis, Robert Mapplethorpe, Dimitris Papaioannou, Cassils, movies such as 120 battements par minute, and popular TV shows such as Pose.

Thank you for bringing this horror show to our attention, Nick. We should weep for the rotten state of affairs in our church, in our government, and where it all begins, in our schools. This is academia today! These sickos see the world through the prism of their sinful suffering, their sickness, and want us to do the same. The only question I pose is this: is the rot so deep that we are finished? Is there anything we can do to reverse the harm? Where are the defenders of our faith? How about the experts on Western civilization? Who gave these pseudo-intellectuals a license to defecate on us in the name of “academic freedom”? I want to vomit!

There are a couple situations of lives of saints where married couples decided to become monastic. In one such instance, after years of ascetism aged and thinned out her body, one such nun went on a pilgrimage to the Holy Land, but due to the dangerous conditions during those times, she went disguised as a male monk. By Divine Providence, the husband-turned-monk happened to be in that region, and she recognized him, although he did not recognize her at all…years had passed, and even the voice had altered / weakened. Long story short, the monk asked the disguised nun what monastery “he” was from, not knowing that this was the same woman he once married, and invited the “monk” to stay at his monastery… She disguised her identity until the end, but had written a note that was opened after her death, when they discovered the truth…
Anyway, great story, and there are some other examples of women disguising as men to conceal their identity for spiritual reasons, but if this is the sort of story that Columbia is claiming to be an example of “byzantine drag”, then they are justifying the the old saying that B.S. is “not” a Bachelor of Science (but the other meaning), that M.S. means “more of that same S”, and that PhD, means “piled higher and deeper”…
Academic trash and blasphemy all around.

I agree. It is a great story, but I doubt these LGBTQ pseudo-intellectuals go that far in their thoughts. They either make up their false findings or pretend to confuse the cassock (ράσο) for a dress. I would not waste time to speculate to fill in the gaps in their presentations. These creeps are not worth the time.
It is better to focus on the real culprits who are behind these sickos. To his credit, Nick is focused on the real source of the problem, the man who finances these anti-Christian and anti-family warriors: SNF’s co-president Andreas Dracopoulos. Nick also focuses on our church hierarchy, perverts in their own right, who encourage these sickos to malign our Faith and the Christian family under the guise of Ivy League scholarship.
When will we raise our voices? They’re already in command as the new norm.
