The past week reminded us all how armed Church Security teams are needed at churches across the USA and beyond.
An Islamic terrorist stabbed Assyrian Orthodox Bishop H.G Mar Mari Emmanuel in Australia on April 14, 2024. He survived the attack.
On April 8th, a sixteen-year-old teenager robbed a 68-year-old Greek American lady in New York City outside St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Queens, New York at 8:00 am.
The Greek American woman’s name is 68-year-old Irene Tahliambouris. The criminal pushed the lady down the steps, which led to her head injury. He stole her car, purse, cash, credit cards, and cellphone. The woman’s family says that she is fighting for her life in the hospital.
New York Democrats allowed criminals free reign across New York City. It is no longer safe to be in Democrat-ruled cities and states. On top of that, George Soros-funded District Attorneys in New York City will not prosecute criminals like in Los Angeles, Chicago, New York City, etc.
I hope everyone learns not to vote Democrat in the 2024 elections on all levels (state, federal, city, county). Vote out the Democrat politician bums who brought high crime rates, homelessness, and high cost of living and destroyed our cities and states.
Recently, I attended a seminar by a retired Dallas, Texas cop (https://sheepdogchurchsecurity.net/) who goes to churches to discuss the need for church security teams.
From 2000-2017, there were more than 1500 “deadly force incidents” within churches across the US.
Each Greek Orthodox Church needs an armed security team right now. All Christian churches, whether Catholic, Orthodox, or Protestant, need an armed Security Team of volunteers. Churches are a huge target, as we have seen in the past week at two Orthodox churches.
The Sheepdog Seminar covers how to form a church security team and who to recruit. You need one armed man outside the church doors and armed folks inside the foyer entrance who will approach and talk to any mysterious person coming in trying to do harm. The key is to have an armed security team.
We Christians do not have to be in fear for our lives attending church service.
The seminar also discusses first aid training with tourniquet application and AED defibrillator.
It is time to be Sheepdogs in our communities at a time when demon-possessed folks to want to harm Christian-centered people.
