EDITOR’S NOTE (Nick Stamatakis). Helleniscope’s readers are familiar with Columbia Professor Jeffrey Sachs and his analyses on many geopolitical matters, particularly on the role of the Israeli Lobby (AIPAC) and his burdening influence on US Foreign Policy.  I have to confess that I was about to write an article titled “The Biggest Problem Of Trump’s Foreign Policy Will Be Controlling AIPAC and the Zionists.”  President Trump managed to get ahead of these thoughts by posting on “X” a video of Professor Sachs calling Netanyahu a “deep, dark, son of a b….”. You can watch the video below… Professor Sachs, along with Michael Hudson, Prof. Mearsheimer, and a few others, are the loudest critics of this insane situation where Israel and the Zionists dictate a foreign policy that goes directly against American interests – in a situation where “the tail wags the dog”… It is now clear that Trump himself knows exactly where the problem is.  And so do his closest advisers.

Many uninformed people started worrying about the seemingly “crazy” statements by Trump and his circle about Canada, Panama, Greenland, etc… Those who know the basics of foreign policy immediately realized that these “crazy” proclamations were not crazy at all, but they were very compatible with the “America First” dogma; and they are a new version of the famous “Monroe Doctrine,” established by President Monroe two centuries ago, 1n 1823!!.  This doctrine opposed European Colonialism in North and South America and stated that any intervention in the political affairs of the Americas by foreign powers was a potentially hostile act against the United States.

Even before the inauguration, President Trump has re-oriented America in the right direction. America is about business, and business cannot develop without peace. We have no interest in constantly fighting in the Middle East to support the Zionists – they have to make peace with the Palestinians, and they have to quit their supremacist ideology. Period. Our airports, trains, and highways are in shambles to support an over $1 Trillion defense budget annually to stupid global wars constantly. The big powers (U.S.A, Russia, China) can make a deal agreeing on “spheres of influence” and allowing cooperation among all nations – instead of the constant threat of nuclear catastrophe!!  Enough is Enough!!…

Finally, did anyone notice that Indonesia, the world’s 7th largest economy with a population of 277 million people, joined the BRICS? (link here). Did you also notice that Russia and Iran are about to sign (January 17-20) a comprehensive defense pact? Do you realize that this (along with other developments in Syria and Iraq) prohibits any stupid Zionist dreams of attacking Iran in the foreseeable future?  Do you think that China was not informed about this ahead of time, and she is into the deal? Do you believe that the Trump transition team was not also informed? Why would they say no to such a deal? Instead of Iran developing nuclear weapons (as it would be very likely), Russia will act as a monitor of Iran, and it would not allow it. At the same time, Russia will not allow Israel to attack Iran and that would stop Israel’s Zionist hallucinations!!

On a more personal level, does anyone think that Trump has forgotten that Bibi Netanyahu was the first foreign leader to recognize Biden’s victory in 2020?

Trump shares video criticising Netanyahu’s ‘obsessive’ push for US-Iran conflict

US President-elect, Donald Trump, shared a video on his Truth Social platform Wednesday that shows Columbia University Professor, Jeffrey Sachs, criticising Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for his “obsessive” efforts to involve the US in war with Iran, Anadolu Agency reports.

The video, a snippet from one of Sachs’ lectures, critiques US foreign policy and examines the motives behind the 2003 invasion of Iraq. Sachs alleges that the push for war stemmed from Netanyahu’s long-standing strategy to dismantle regimes supporting groups like Hamas and Hezbollah.

“Where did that war come from? You know what? It’s quite surprising. That war came from Netanyahu, actually,” Sachs said in the video, which delves into the pretext for the Iraq invasion.

“Netanyahu had, from 1995 onward, the theory that the only way we’re going to get rid of Hamas and Hezbollah is by toppling the governments that support them. That’s Iraq, Syria and Iran. And the guy is nothing if not obsessive, and he’s still trying to get us to fight Iran this day, this week,” he said, calling Netanyahu a “deep, dark son of a bitch”.

“He’s gotten us into endless wars, and because of the power of all of this in the US politics, he’s gotten his way, but that war was totally phony,” Sachs added.

  1. I think what is Trump saying to the Genocidal warmongering Zionists and their puppets both domestically and abroad is that the USA has bigger and tastier fish to fry in its neighbourhood and that Ukrying, Iran and the Middle East are too far and too costly and useless to waste American blood and treasure on! Why engage in Don Quixotic pointless pursuits for Ukraine when you can easily federate with Canada?
